Vietnamese In The Neighbourhood : Cyclo de Saigon

I’ve been coming to Cyclo for a while now – it’s the only decent Vietnamese restaurant in Point Cook if you’re craving for a bowl of pho or some home cooked Vietnamese stir fries and don’t want to travel all the way to the Eastern suburbs.

Menu for lunch and dinner differs.  Lunch menu focussed on street Vietnamese fares while the dinner menu showcased mostly stir fries.

We ordered various dishes to try – meatball skewers, pho, fried spring roll was well cooked.  However, I preferred the pho at I love Pho because of their very smooth rice noodle that I can’t seem to find it anywhere else.  Other than that, we also ordered their Bun (rice vermicelli) – a cold dish served with pork meatball, pickled vegetables and fish sauce as well as Grilled garlic & lemongrass chicken on broken rice.

Verdict : Cyclo is our neighbourhood Vietnamese restaurant and I’m pretty glad that it is.  The food is decently delicious but the price is a bit on the high side.  The restaurant is pleasantly nice but service is inconsistent.
